DON’T FORGET (忘れないで or Wasurenaide in Japanese) is a smart and grounded bilingual horror that tells the story of a half-Japanese woman who begins to see her mother’s early-onset dementia as a monster that haunts them both.

This short film was written and directed by Welsh-Japanese writer Mika Watkins, produced by Lizzie Brown, Carissa Hope Lynch and Emily Precious, and stars Sonoya Mizuno and Noriko Sakura.

Film 4 and Sony present this Bird Flight Films production in association with Eleven.

DON’T FORGET has been selected for the Bolton International Film Festival, Flickers’ Rhode Island International Film Festival and the 20th London Short Film Festival.
